Privacy policy

The short version: the invoices you create stay on your device. We do not have accounts and we never receive your invoice data. To keep the tool free, some pages show ads from Google, which uses cookies. We do not set any cookies ourselves.

What is stored, and where

When you use the invoice generator, the following is saved in your browser’s local storage, on your own device:

• the invoice you are working on and your invoice history;
• your business details, default notes and terms, and logo;
• your settings, such as currency, color and paper size.

We never receive this data, and we do not share it with anyone, including advertisers. PDFs are generated inside your browser. Because the data lives only in your browser, clearing your browsing data, using a private window or switching devices means it will not be there. Use Backup & data in the sidebar to download a copy, and Clear all data to delete it.

Advertising

Some pages, including the invoice generator and the invoice templates, show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads help keep the tool free.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on those visits.
• When an ad loads, Google receives standard information from your browser, such as your IP address, your device and browser type, and the address of the page. We do not send Google the contents of your invoices.
• Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked for your consent before cookies are used for personalized ads.

You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center, and opt out of personalized ads from other participating companies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and how Google uses advertising cookies.

Cookies

We do not set our own cookies. Cookies you may see on this site come from Google’s advertising, described above. Our host, Cloudflare, may also set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from bots and abuse.

Hosting and server logs

The website is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This information is not combined with your invoice data, which never reaches the server. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Other third parties

Fonts and our own scripts are served from our domain. Apart from Google’s advertising and Cloudflare’s hosting, the site does not load third-party analytics or social media scripts.

Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
